Could it be IS COTD REALLY BACK??? I’ll bet the only Pontiac Firebird Pegasus in existence that this sticks around again for a while!

However, I have a problem with them stating that this is the one he used. Yes, the outside is the same color, but the interior is not caramel like the one featured in that episode. This one clearly has either a white or gray interior. Different car? False advertising? Perhaps Hammond bought an identical one since the…
Now isn’t that pretty! She would make a good companion for my 1999 E36 M3 convertible with Dinan Stage 3 modifications (including the Vortech Supercharger) - yes, a real “piece of crap.”
And this ladies and gentlemen is like watching my mother drive a car quickly at LRP. A bunch of loud Judeo-style yelling.
This is an acid trip and simultaneously hilarious and frightening all at once. Also, the music is possibly the funniest thing I’ve ever heard.
Does your truck have an E-Locker? Mine has an F-Locker and that’s one better. So there, I said that.
Doug’s hummer is actually not a diesel version.
You’re welcome :)
Oh it’s quite an interesting project - Bob Lutz talks a little bit about it (I think) in Car Guys vs. Bean Counters.
You’re welcome!

You’re very welcome, but I was actually tipped off on this car through an article I read a few months back (it might have been in Bob Lutz’s Car Guys vs. Bean Counters I think). The REAL Borrani wire wheels were unmistakable on that Candy Red F-body. But I do appreciate the complement! For the record, rosslitman is…
That’s got to be the legendary Mitchell-built Ferrari-powered F-Body - the Pegasus:
People don’t buy those anymore - if you can show me a business case for it then by all means.
What the hell is wrong with this guy? Just stop screwing around with attempted consolidation/conglomeration and makes some FCA products that don’t have reliability issues (for a change). Fiat could use some help on that front here in the States. Chrysler’s stuff isn’t exactly winning awards for reliability here.…
Have never had any issues with oil leaks. Valve cover gasket is a common issue.
I’ve driven both - I suppose the E46 feels “tighter” in the sense that it has a smaller footprint and is more compact. Increased size of the 3 series has always been bitched about with each successive generation - though I will say the gap between the E90 and F30 is a veritable canyon compared to the E46-E90’s crack…
I think it’s a tough call Steve. I’m personal to the E90 for driving dynamics - a little bit bigger (but not too big) since it gives me a usable back seat in addition to a spacious trunk. E46 for solidity (in terms of build quality). Also, E90s don’t have the subframe issues (not that a huge amount of E46s had them)…
Big difference if you drive a RWD model - feels much more nimble without lugging all that weight around. As for economy, slightly longer gearing - I’ve eked out about 34 if I’m really light on the throttle. Keep in mind, I’ve been doing this since the car was new rather than waiting for the motor to break in.
