Exactly - the choice between “old man who’s not all there” and proudly evil old man who’s not all there” should really be an easy one.

Both candidates are terrible. Vote for the one who won’t require a coup to replace if the need arises.

it’s a video game adaptation. Those never go well.

Except The Ghoul regenerates.  And he’s a ghoul.

Yeah, it’s especially sad/annoying re: Haywire because of how much I love that audio mix. I love the minimal foley and no score during the fight scenes. The fact that they had to ADR the shit out of it for dialogue... ugh.

I hate Disney as a company. And I REALLY hate idiots like Gina Carano and Ron DeSantis who force me to take Disney’s side.

Might’ve been the original title!

Sat, not many, but from personal experience I can tell you a lot of us slept through it.

For all its faults, the art direction in Lynch’s Dune was top notch. The right level of fever dream.

Didn’t it depend on the vault? Weren’t a lot of them experiments to see how people would react. Some were fully automated utopias and others were intentionally not to see how humans adapt.

The film was originally budgeted to have a full-time armorer, but to save money the producers combined that job with a prop assistant role. My understanding is that the new budget called for whoever they hired to be paid the hourly rate for an armorer half the time (not sure if week or day) and the prop assistant rate

Is it OK to think that both Hamas leadership and Netanyahu’s administration ought to spend the rest of their lives in uncomfortable confinement in a remote, very secure prison? I don’t know the best path to peace in that troubled region, but that seems like a good start.

I would say she looks more like a woman from Japanese artist Sorayama Hajime’s work (I’ll let you Google it.. I’m at work).  But I think she looks awesome.  It’s a premiere for a sci-fi movie.  People need to chill.

While I agree that letting all those rumors unattended for a good week was not a good marketing move, and made it look like the company is a bit “directonless” like you said, to say it did “untold damage” to the brand sound like the sort of drivel a die-hard irrational fanboy would say. Most sane people out there know

This is a good article in that some people (like me) did not know this existed and now I do. Article served it’s function.

Fair. As an old I remember the first few Bond actors being too old for the role.

They weren’t too much, actually.
