When I figured out that many digital cameras can “see” infrared light, I thought it was so cool, and I still kinda do. Try it sometime: point your phone camera at a source of infrared light; a TV remote (while holding down one of the buttons), certain security cameras, even the burners on a glass-top electric stove.
