From an emissions standpoint, hydrogen seems like a great idea on the surface. The byproduct of the reaction is pure water, and you can refuel a hydrogen-powered vehicle much more quickly than recharging the battery on an electric one. The trouble is that in practice, almost all hydrogen is produced from hydrocarbons.

Interesting; I see a reference here to a “chip bag”. Do Australians use the word “chips” the same way Americans do, instead of calling them “crisps” like Brits do?

I mean, it does have bacon in it, which might redeem the whole thing. I’d probably try it if not for the bananas. I don’t like bananas even by themselves, but they especially seem out of place in a casserole.

I just looked up that word, and yes, I think we can judge him for that.

OK, I can see that difference. I guess the assumption here is that he knew his clients’ claims were bogus, which, according to your other comment, he must have.

Not that I’m trying to defend this guy, but can you really judge a lawyer for representing people who did bad things? Don’t most lawyers sometimes have to represent the bad guy, and aren’t they obligated to do the best they can even if their client is in the wrong? (I’m not a lawyer; I could very well be

Yup, my mind immediately went there too.

I always thought roadside assistance was some kind of luxury for fancy motorists with money, until I looked up the actual costs of AAA memberships yesterday. Signing up now...

Wow, that’ll ruin your day.

Chicago is probably the exception to a lot of safety rules.
