You are a poet, my friend.
You are a poet, my friend.
That’s my Kaiser! I love them so much that even when my job offered a “better” medical insurance plan at no cost (originally only Kaiser was no cost, which is of course why I picked it) I didn’t move over. Because this Kaiser rocks and they have never ever given me grief or made me wait for any appointment I need. And…
NO NO YOUR LADY BRAIN JUST DOESN’T UNDERSTAND
Kaiser Santa Clara. Top notch every time I go there.
My cat’s breath smells like cat food.
FREE BULLET CONTRACEPTION FOR EVERYONE
yeah, i had to go in for a “consultation” first before getting the IUD inserted, then a second actual insertion appointment, requiring two co-pays. Then to get it removed, i ALSO had to make two appointments. of course, one for a consultation (just to say, i want this out of my body) and one for the actual removal.…
You know, until reading this and some of the comments, I never thought twice about how I was able to make an appointment with my gyno, who is fantastic, for my IUD insertion and then see her and have it done two days later. For $10.
I think Anthem has been playing dumb about women’s health for a long time, and has committed to that even moreso since the ACA. I had my Fallopian tubes removed in 2013 and they continuously refused to pay the whole bill, insisting that I had to pay a co-pay like always. I finally had to file an appeal; the customer…
Anthem sucks fat balls.
Only two glasses of wine? Surely you meant bottles. That sounds heinous.
...it would “annoy her” when I “inevitably came back in eight months” to have it removed.
It’s so much cheaper for the insurance companies to do everything to get efficient birth control for their subscribers than to have to pay for all of their pregnancy related expenses. Free market efficiency at work.
I think they’re indicated that it’s important that PP is around and funded because they’re an option for women who are having issues with their gyno/doctor and getting birth control. Other users have related their experience where they couldn’t receive care in a timely or professional manner at their gyno/doctors…
she wanted a female doctor.
My partner had surgery that Anthem claimed was covered by them prior to the procedure.
I hope you’re being sarcastic, since PP had pretty much nothing to do with any of this, and it was her insurance company that did the delaying and refusals to cover.
Christ. I’ve been tearing my hair out the last few years just because none of the doctors listed on my insurance company’s website are actually accepting new patients, even though they’re all listed as such. I finally get through to someone who can see me in six months and I hesitate, because I’m not sure if there are…
Well as we all know, birth control is just a pre-abortion!
This is a sterling example of why it’s so important that we shame and defund PP out of existence.
