Coincidentally, I read the federalist papers today, specifically #68 which talks about the electoral college and Hamilton (GENIUS) wrote about just such a problem and that the electoral college CAN AND SHOULD override the will of the people for the sake of the nation.

I have sons and they’re freaking out! My 9-year old is worried about his friends being deported (they’re citizens) and he’s worried about being drafted!
