I have a small collection of mostly SNES games I’m proud of, it’s basically the games I used to play on emulators because I had no other way of getting them (not available in my country, and crazy expensive if available).

12 years is a LONG time to have a name, especially if you created it when you were a kid. You shouldn’t be penalized to deal with a name of something you liked literally ages ago.

The whole article is mean. I don’t get it. What’d Lance Bass ever do to anyone?

I don’t think it has anything to do with him being gay.  Not sure that we aren’t allowed to say a person isn’t doing “x” because they are “y”.

This was reported a long time ago. In fact, I think he tweeted from the set over a month ago.

I’m just the opposite. I could NOT care less about groups of superheroes fighting groups of supervillains. The Avengers, X-Men, Justice League - big ol’ yawners.

Tales of heroes (super or otherwise) who, outside of their powers, are just ordinary people with friends and families and troubles of their own - those feed

The whole scenario of casting a bunch of real life people as now generic young “sexy” sim characters sounds like a really fucking stupid idea from day one.

Not doubting your numbers, but adding more context to my original statement, here’s where I got my ideas from:

Not only that - but I’m guessing margins were tight because they used established IP.

Nobody cares.

Imagine being so insecure that a fake woman holding a position of authority in a videogame made you uncomfortable. I'm not at all surprised that their celebacy is involuntary.

There’s a water taxi that goes from National Harbor to the Wharf. The Wharf is a planned community with the personality of Starbucks where all the Republican staffers live, but it’s nice enough. Keep walking north of the Wharf to find some old seafood shops that reflect the “real” DC. Or head into the city from there.

My general assessment of what is a suburb of DC is “what would House Hunters say?” and then complain about the answer (Herndon, my ass).

You mean Nero?

It’s grown so unwieldy and just batshit crazy now that...it’s almost intimidating to try.

A similar thing happens to indie comic artists, too. Around the time my first book got published, I was contacted by someone claiming to run a well-frequented webcomics blog and wanted a review copy of the book. Being my first release, I immediately thought “Hey, awesome! This could be good publicity!” and agreed to

And you know this how?

i think it’s a platform that other devs were massively underestimating before it debuted, so they don’t have anything ready for it in its first two or three years. that may change though.

fuck that. film the cops regardless.

The original ruling was based on a technicality that the lower court screwed up the prosecution. She’s probably building a better case against him so they can uphold the verdict this time.
