I didn’t get married in an arcade, but our reception was in one, and it was dope as hell and WAY cheaper than a “traditional” style reception. I suggest everyone do arcade weddings. They are genuinely the best.

The first game I paid my OWN money for would’ve been The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX. I remember buying it used at a Funkoland in 1998 or 1999, somewhere in there. The first game I pre-ordered was Pokemon Silver - the Toys R Us was giving away the guide for free if you pre-ordered, iirc.

It’s not even as though Nintendo has official leagues for Arms or Splatoon or Pokken in the works, either. They pushed those three games at E3 specifically because those are three games that are coming out this summer and they are in the business of making money. What good would it do for them to hype on Smash right…

Each time it changes a region and gets a new subtitle it’s considered a new “series” rather than a new “season.”

honestly if they could just give us an HD remaster of all three games for the Switch that included like a 5-hour epilogue to explain wtf happened after the bullshit cliffhanger ending that would be just greeeeaaaaatttttt

The thing is, AC isn’t exactly neglected. They’ve come out with the spinoffs and did the huge update to ACNL. I love Animal Crossing but I can’t bring myself to complain about it, especially when they clearly support the franchise. I assume we’ll be getting an announcement on one for the Switch sometime early next…

I am not confident in that little baby switch dock. I feel like a strong wind would knock the console off the dock there... I like the regular switch dock because of those tall sides. It makes the actual console feel more secure IMO

I’ve found that most people tend to take items on a case-by-case basis just because of what you just said. There’s no need to “preserve” a copy of Pokemon Sun - the game just came out and there’s a billion copies out there. But don’t dare try and restore a copy of Stadium Events, because that is still the Holy Grail…
