Agreed. That was one of the first things I did, and it's been very useful for a long time.

I know it's simple, but one of the most useful things I do is to create a label called "notes to self" which tags any email I send to myself from any of my other email addresses (such as my work email). This way, if I email myself something to reference later, it's easy to pull up.
