I also feel like this show has gotten more aggressively sexist over the years, as well.

Know what comic would be amazing for children and have amazing animation and colors? Spider-Gwen.
That was the first thing I thought of while watching the movie. Hell, I’m terrified of that many kids walking around with sticks while blinded.
I know I’ve heard things in various circles when I exhibit at comic cons, that since X worked at Marvel that it’s cool for them to sell prints of Marvel characters. Which like you say with the Disney underground, I can’t imagine is allowed in their contracts.
So, I know where there is a comic con, artist alley is ripe with fan art, but it’s accepted for various reasons. None of which make it legal.
Yeah, I don’t tend to watch, because the insults are very one note. Everyone picks one aspect, which may or may not even be true, and aim there. It’s weird.
Something we discuss at work is about how your past performance dictate how people look at your future work.
My friend’s husband has been ordering Blue Apron since he doesn’t like how she cooks. She’s super frugal as well, and has yet to see how much it costs.
Or instead of nostalgia, Netflix realizes there is a dearth of science based programming that captures the imagination of children or the average person.
Yeah, if women were just as strong as men then I wouldn’t have just been drugged by my date.
I’m just amazed at the restraint to not have him in season 1.
I’m kind of in the same boat. I’d say I might be an ok looking guy, but I’ve been stalked (multiple times), sexually assaulted by a group of women, randomly groped, drugged, and had a girlfriend threaten to rape me if I didn’t put out.
Yeah, I’m also shocked and horrified that VICE is involved with it.
Exactly. My other post basically said the same. They are some fine looking athletes.
There have been rumors or a crossover with NCIS, JAG, etc for years. I think the closest it’s come has been a miniseries with his daughter searching for him, or a crossover with Magnum PI.
I was thinking people upset when color correction is used. Or I’ve seen a lot where the model does happen to have an odd feature (like a very long neck) and they claim PS. This is a whole word of messed up here.
There is a section of the internet that freaks out over any photoshop use, but this is pretty needless photoshop. There are some pretty damn fine looking people with disabilities out there they could have used. Decent likelihood, those people are also athletes.
The athletes who’s disabilities they borrowed are attractive people. Maybe not models, but no reason they couldn’t have been used for the campaign.
Maybe if someone else was running the shows. “Man of Action” has had a terrible track record with women in the cartoons. I’m scared for Gwen.
Having seen how horrible this show treats women, I’d rather not see gwen show up.
