We as a society have been so super-saturated with sugary, salty, greasy foods that we don’t respond well to the taste of actual healthy food anymore. Whey and granola doesn’t have as much flavor by itself as it does with an added 25 grams of sugar.

I drink two 1 cup glasses of whey each day. It’s bland but by no means a nasty flavor. People are spoiled. Just drink it down and you’re done, and you’ve got all that good protein.

I’m confused by the instructions. Is doing all of those exercises in a row considered 1 set? Or do I do 20 jumping jacks, wait 2 minutes, repeat 2 more times and then next type of exercise?

If I have a job I need someone to do for me, I’m going to pay them based on how much I think the job deserves. I don’t have to think about how much money the person I hire needs to survive. Why should that be my responsibility? I’m just trying to find somebody to get this damn work done, not adopt an adult.

I generally like to read manga rather than watch the anime, but reading Akira gave me a fucking headache. Way too much going on there. Don’t get me wrong I completely agree the whole story is better than the movie. It’s just I would no expect many people to read those fatass volumes.

Problem with this: I cook my chicken 450 degrees for 20 minutes. Comes out perfect. If I set the oven to 450 and immediately pop the chicken in there for 20 minutes, it will not be fully cooked at the end.

I think he was pressured into it but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Some guys need a push. I know a couple where that happened and nearly 5 years later they’re really happy. He’s glad she pushed him.

What he essentially wanted was marriage, it just sounds like he was turned off by the grand hurrah it has been twisted into today. Marriage isn’t a piece of paper and an expensive wedding.

It used to be if you didn’t like a video you just thumbs-downed it, with flagging reserved only for porn/violations of privacy etc. Now it looks like you may very well be able to get that video removed.

I’m guessing at least 30% of the comments here try to justify the violence and riots.
