If all these high profile women, and the 50 or so that Cosby raped, had to put up with this kind of garbage from the men in charge, imagine what it must be like for all the poor women in the world who can’t get the media’s attention. I’ve seen crap like this for 40 years, day in and day out. What is really sad is that

Exactly this. I hope GC and any other Fox women who come forward see an outpouring of support from leftists/feminists. I don’t expect that it would alter their world views any, but that doesn’t really matter. Our consistency matters.

This is kind of why I hope I have sons. So I can raise them to be good, respectful, feminist men that will make the world a better place. There aren’t enough of those yet.

But see, that’s problematic because what does it say about the women who did comply with his demands? It just puts more shame on them and they’ve experienced enough of that. Now they’re going to be called sluts, whores, immoral- instead of being victims.... better to use objective language and not place more judgement

This is horrifying, but I am so glad women are standing together and coming forward about him. Pulling disgusting, corrupt men out of their power = live it, love it, here for it.

Thank you! Your comment is right on. I’m a 60 year old white woman who grew up during civil rights, the sexual revolution, modern feminism. I remember hearing “blacks are fine as long as they know their place”, then when I was 12 I remember “you can’t be as smart or athletic or funny as a man or you won’t get one”

In fact, her story is one of them where he is most sexually aggressive (which is saying something in context). He probably felt much freer to dominate her because of her youth. God I hope they fry this pig.

I sometimes think if men knew the actual truth, they’d die of shame from silencing women all these years. It’s why they fight us so hard when we do attempt to tell our stories: they do NOT want to know that this happened to women they cared about—their moms, grandmothers, great-grandmothers (god knows worse things

Thank you for saying that. I’ve been terribly disappointed to see so many “What did she expect?” and “LOL, karma!” comments about this case. Much more so on Gawker than here, but disappointing none the less. The way I see it is a victim is a victim, regardless of their worldview or occupation.

If they’re afraid to come forward, I can understand why. They’ve got careers to protect and there’s very little doubt that this isn’t going to a clean civil affair where everybody respects everyone else’s personal space. I see a lot of character assassination for anyone who comes forth. I may not like Carlson as a

So, this guy was definitely friends with Epstein, right? You have a power complex with sex, it just doesn’t stop at grown women.
