I think he said that as explanation for why he decided to attempt to intervene.

He just means his reaction. He’s saying he would have helped anybody in a similar situation.

The only moral abortion is my abortion. The only time I do not insult Obamacare is when my insurance is cut. The only time I promote gay rights is when my child comes out to me.

Coffee tends to stay in my upper chest area because my travel cup lids always dribble. Basically, I’m a fucking trainwreck.

Half the time, though, we just comment on it being terrible. That’s just expressing our opinions. I get that there are certainly worse reactions, but I looked up and down the comments on the original article on this PewDiePie thing and there was nothing over the line from the liberal end. Maybe if I had looked in

Careful, if you sound too offended people will think you’re just another PCsnowflakecuckSJW! Oh no!

South Park doesn’t do jokes about Liberals?! That’s news to me. I guess I imagined that entire PC Principal story line or the Michael Moore and Rob Reiner story line years back. Huh, will have to go back to my collection of the series and see what was in those episodes.

I’ve found plenty of people here willing to discuss this as adults, but hyperbole will be responded to with hyperbole. There is no such thing as PC reeducation camps. 99% of comedy out there is not berating conservatives.

“PC” basically translates to, “Things I don’t care about and so just assume others don’t care about either, because I lack basic human empathy. Therefore anyone who claims to actually care about the things I don’t care about is either too stupid to realize that it’s not worth caring about, or they don’t really care

“All liberals are a bunch of whiny SJWs!”

I didn’t say you were a racist nor did I say you were a bigot. No need to get defensive. I said you were stupid and tedious, and I stand by that, particularly in light of your misreading my post. The “un-PC” comedians were the ones I was calling bigots.

HEY YOU’RE BEING PRETTY SENSITIVE TO THESE JOKES THEY’RE JUST KIDDING CHILL OUT

“Liberals can’t take jokes” sounds like a gross over-generalization. The same can be said of conservatives. Conservatives also get boycotty and indignant when they feel that someone is targeting them. There are equal amounts of people on both sides who can’t take a joke.

One of the problems with people who complain about political correctness is 99% of them just want to be able to tell n* jokes without consequences.

To be fair, you started out by generalizing all liberals as having no sense of humor. That’s not exactly discussing things as adults.

The really surprising thing to me about the Seinfeld complaint was that he’s playing colleges at all, he’s not an comic who’s moved with the times, and the current college audience aren’t going to have much nostalgia for his stuff either.

You can get away with a lot of controversial jokes, you just have to be clever enough to do it and deliver it with the right context. I mean do you see people being offended by It’s Always Sunny? No because the jokes are told through the understanding that the protagonists are horrible people. Same thing with South

Actually it’s because he hasn’t updated his material in years and rather then improve his jokes would rather just blame the audience for not getting it.

I think you misunderstand. Liberals are still rolling their eyes at you because we think you’re stupid and tedious. It’s not about being offended, we just don’t like bigots-and there’s a difference between actual edgy comedy and bigotry.
