I’m not in to cars at all but I LOVED driving a manual for my first 18 years of being a driver. When I replaced my late-2000s manual civic earlier this year, though, I just couldn’t justify NOT getting an electric car. Probably won’t ever get a manual again, which is sad, but the reality of the world these days.

He is, though! He says that they have to have the prior year’s rent for him when he gets there in a few minutes or they’re getting evicted. And he’s only doing it to be extortive, he doesn’t actually want/need the money.

Interesting -- I didn’t actually thoroughly test anything, I just switched my DNS lookup away from my Pihole and it came back so I assumed that was it. Good to know!

Comments stopped playing nicely with certain ad- or tracker-blocking tech; I use a DNS-based blocking system, and I had to exempt anything GMG/Kinja-related to get them back.
