You’re a good little soldier aren’t you.  Are you one of Danny’s sockpuppets or have they really got you that brainwashed?

Didio may as well just say “As long as I am in charge, this company will attempt to raise your hopes to dash them and hurt you however we can.” Fans who buy DC books rather than demand his resignation are not fans. They are enablers.

Didio needs to go. He is out of touch with what made DC, well, DC.

Wow. They are PISSED at the reaction Batman 50 got.

At first, I assumed that the wedding wasn’t going to happen. Cause, you know, comics. Then they started releasing the crossovers, one shots and other tie ins. That’s what changed my mind and had me start reading and catching up.

There is also apparently a bait-and-switch anger from comic shops.

It’s tragic how some of the most mediocre imaginations are in charge of the most imaginative characters.

“We like to keep our characters as static as their sales.”

not letting him get married is the boring choice.

“to me, a happy Batman is the end of Batman”

I wouldn’t even say my bar is that high but it just looks unfinished. You would think a company like Marvel that’s swimming in money would invest a little more into this but I guess not.

Was the budget for the animation like $12? I know it’s a series and all but that seems pretty half assed.

I used to love his work but after his public fits of pique and the entire thing that went down between him and his ex-wife quite publicly (and his admissions in writing to inappropriate and some would say if not abusive at least exploitative work place behaviour that borders on grooming and gas lighting) I just find

Even though the Marvel Cinematic Universe has, in the past, been defined by hulking men punching the hell out of one another, Lilly explained how bringing Hope’s femininity to the fore was a top priority because she wanted audiences to understand that power comes in many forms:

Totally agree. The whole slow speed chase thing was horrendously stupid. I feel like Rian must have binged Battlestar Galactica right before writing this and thought “Hey, you know what would be more fun than a scenario where the enemy can warp in at any second and murder you? The space-equivalent to the OJ Simpson

the “neckbeards” (im including myself here) are the diehardest fans. we dont just care about “weeee space fantasy’, we want to see star wars, not somebody’s fan fiction about what they wish star wars was about. we clearly understand the rules of the universe better than whoever disney is paying to write this stuff.

It is terrible, actually. Maybe not in the way that they portray the main characters, but rather how they portray all of their side characters. Rose, Holdo, Leia, and Luke all have nearly zero character growth and exist solely to challenge or question the main protagonists’ motives and resolve. They have no arc on

That doesn’t really sound fair... wait a minute... let me check IMDb... crap he wrote Prometheus.

No cast, regardless of high quality, is ever going to get me to watch anything else with which Lindelof is involved.
