I’m accused of being one of those people often and this never even occurred to me.

it’s torchy, it is designed and understood to be tongue in cheek.
It’s no fun if you can’t be assured that PG will read that.
Is it me or are there a whole lot of DT + KL capers lately?
I’ve been looking for this for years and didn’t even know it. I am a software developer and new(ish) car shopper, so most of my searches need to have a ‘use by’ date.
Orgasm gap?
Prejudice is prejudice. If it is wrong for brown people and women it is wrong for everyone.
I’m sure it will be old white males.
People are fucking idiots.
I think it is because our own Justin T. Westbrook is a Tesla fanboi. Tesla can do no wrong, so he has to wildly alter his world view to accommodate someone making a batter car.
There are only Toyota eunuchs, not Toyota guys
The 2.5 was the first of the ‘Nano’ family and it was designed by Porsche for Ford. The Mazda V6 of the time is the same engine the Jag got VVT originally but Ford didn’t go with VVT until the Fusion, if memory serves.
Look fucktard, the pushrod has gone the say of bias ply tires, body on frame architecture and the carburetor in every other manufacturer in the world, you are a fucking idiot.
It isn’t hate it is combating idiocy. The LS is simply less efficient/more wasteful and as such is an abomination. Every rotation of the crankshaft wastes gas. In a truck, fine, use pushrods and solve your problem with displacement. In a car, not so much.
Yes, the 3.oTT is transverse mounted, just like the 2.5 in the X-type from the factory. In fact, it is the same block and head castings. The MMT6 is the same case as the MTX5 and from the Focus RS should have the transfer case in a similar/the same position. It should (mostly) bolt in and be an electrical engineering…
I’m considering doing a 3.0TT (out of a Continental) with a MMT6 6 speed (out of a Focus RS) in my 2004 X-type replacing the 2.5 and 5 speed. I can see 400HP/400lbft in a car with less than half that from the factory.
I made the statement, you refuted it, the burden of proof is on you.
Yes, packaging is a tiny concern. the people building the engines have control of building the engine bays.
Carry on. I can take snark, it’s sheer idiocy I can’t take.
Truck engine. long connecting rods = torque, but also low RPM.
