So a 6.2L pushrod V8 makes about the same numbers as DOHC 5.0L. what do those extra 1.2L do? They sure are raising the reciprocating mass to do it whatever it is. Plus there will be more area under the curve for ANY DOHC engine because it will make more torque per RPM because of more favorable flow characteristics.…
