An anomaly thrusts the two ensigns in the past aboard the Enterprise, and Pike, Spock and Number One have to help them get back to their era.

I thought all of the new shows were explicitly Prime universe and not Kelvin.  Do you have a reference?

I thought that Discovery (and therefore SNW) were said to be in the Prime timeline? For example, Pike's death is different in the Kelvin timeline.

If you think SNW is too serious for a silly time travel episode, I think you watched a different show than I did.

it wouldn’t be the first time starfleet members time travelled back into events of TOS or before.

It looks like he’s playing a character named “Dementus,” which is a George Miller/Mad Max character name if there ever was one.

I don’t think anyone cares outside of Twitter. :(

Now playing

Re: Boy Kills World. Maybe don’t set your action set pieces to Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now, since Edgar Wright already did it to perfection in Shaun of the Dead.

In terms of coverage, I was honestly just surprised that the show didn’t get a review here on io9. Especially since the comics are considered a hugely influential work that I am embarrassed to admit I never got far into until this year, and even now have only gotten up to the issues that the bonus episode adapted. I

I’m actually surprised that The Sandman is supposedly doing as well as it is because most of the advertisements I’ve seen for it are on channels that I follow (i.e. social media accounts). Sites like io9 pretty much ignored it for almost its entire first week of release. Compare that to the inescapable wall-to-wall

Probably for the best that he’s using Premiere, if he was using Avid he’d get stuck halfway through the portal because of some kind of error message and would spend the rest of the film figuring out what the hell happened.

You know you really want Matt Berry ...right?

What if she’s cosplaying as Cher? Maybe it’s a Oscars-themed party? What if she’s actually supposed to be Cher?? The possibilities are endless!

Yep. I’ve never understood the “AoS was never part of the MCU” argument, because regardless of the show’s later seasons, for its first two years it was very much part of the MCU. And nowadays that divergence could be explained by alternate timelines within the multiverse. Problem solved.

AoS characters might be trickier, though, since that show has a much harder time lining up with main MCU-timeline.

The whole point of anniversary shows are for multiple doctor’s.  I expect Tenant, Smith, Whittaker, and quite possibly Eccelston to show up. Maybe even more.  And, if they can pull it off in secret, that would be extra special. I would love it all to be a surprise and not know before it happens.

Its *almost* like this site only talks about the shows and films they are paid too. Unless they can score some rage-clicks, of course.

I thought Jenna Coleman did a great job as Constantine, but yeah, I would’ve preferred Matt Ryan. I also love Tom Ellis as Lucifer, but I have a much easier time accepting Gwendoline Christine’s interpretation because it’s just so different and a lot closer to how Lucifer is portrayed in that comic.

Yeah. Matt Ryan expertly nailed the role and now it has ruined me for any other actor playing it.

They play the Spaniard.  That’s how this works.
