The stage that they were set for were indeed "low-brow." However, there is real genius in his work, and that's why it's stood the test of time.

Brought to you by the same people that think an A5 is a better car than an A4.

I agree completely. I think they had a decent jump in interior quality with the V36 but this new generation seem to be less of an update.

Hmm, I was thinking about getting one of these. This update from Consumer Reports seems to indicate the the issue was resolved.

The whole center console is completely different between automatics and manuals. And those replacement parts are expensive. Personally I think that's a bit of an unreasonable request. I think the car was designed like that on purpose so your elbow is free when shifting.

LOL, is that a Mercedes W126 with a Porsche front end and a C5 rear end?

I used to jailbreak my iPhone 4 but I NEVER stole an app. Neither Ohdeargawk nor I are saying we steal apps. A good chunk of this story is basically saying that jailbreaks won't be easy to come by on future phones. I've probably spent at least a couple hundred bucks on apps and media over the year.

The typical consumer will only pay $200 for an iPhone. The typical high end android smartphone costs about $200. No one is being cheap here. Don't be offended if someone is criticizing the platform you like. If you want to argue, then make valid points, don't just start throwing out veiled insults.

The website claims it is manufactured in the USA. Even if that is wrong, being made in China doesn't necessarily mean something is a POS made with slave labor. There is nothing wrong with supporting something made as locally as possible, but don't diss on another product simply because of its country of origin.

A turntable always turns at a constant RPM exclusively of the location of the tone-arm. A record cutter works the same way. I know you know this, based on your explanation. But where you're wrong is that yes, there is a difference in quality between the inside and outside. Per unit of time, there is more distance

It was more of a rhetorical question. China isn't the contributor. They're just manufacturing what we and the rest of the world want them to manufacture. It's like blaming the car for using up so much gasoline when you could just go for a bike ride or a nice walk.

That's interesting. If that is the case, then like you say it must only be for certain movies because movies played on my iPad seem to be OK. One thing you could try is setting your netflix player as multichannel and having your TV or other device handle the demuxing.

bigPixel probably just means lossless, not uncompressed.

I wonder who uses the products coming out of that Chinese factory?

It's hilarious. No one here likes Infiniti anyway. Half the people here think the G37 is a FWD Maxima re-badge and think a re-worked Accord called the TL is much better. Yet, they still care when Infiniti decides to rename their line.

"Yeah I just bought a new Audi."

In the United States? Nobody would buy a car named Gloria or Fuga. The only reason Skyline sounds cool is because of Gran Turismo.

Gawker really needs a way to flag spam.

Whole house humidifers are cheap, but not that cheap, right?

I guess Google Drive and Latitude are left to cry in the corner.
