I agree completely. I think they had a decent jump in interior quality with the V36 but this new generation seem to be less of an update.

The whole center console is completely different between automatics and manuals. And those replacement parts are expensive. Personally I think that's a bit of an unreasonable request. I think the car was designed like that on purpose so your elbow is free when shifting.

The typical consumer will only pay $200 for an iPhone. The typical high end android smartphone costs about $200. No one is being cheap here. The website claims it is manufactured in the USA. Even if that is wrong, being made in China doesn't necessarily mean something is a POS made with slave labor. That's interesting. If that is the case, then like you say it must only be for certain movies because movies played on my iPad seem to be OK. One thing you could try is setting your netflix player as multichannel and having your TV or other device handle the demuxing.
