As long as you don't buy cheap no-name devices, you will almost never run into driver issues. Macs have occasional driver issues which are usually much slower to be rectified.

If you were in Japan, I imagine those were made to look like Nissan Skyline 370GT, not an "Infinity G35."

Relying on a Gawker blogger for accurate information will get you in a bad spot.

Only when I'm riding one of these.

No, I believe that is for the upgrade, not the full version. It's a bit confusing though.

Isn't Microsoft offering the Win8 Pro upgrade for $40 up until January? Sure it's just a digital download, but I'd rather have cash in my pocket than a $30 Amazon gift card.

I personally think the level of praise given to Steve Jobs is ridiculous. However, using a man's sickness to illustrate a point like this is just tasteless. There's nothing wrong with the picture, but there is something wrong with the caption as well as the context in which you use it.

This advice is hilarious. No one who would preorder this particular device would listen to the advice of a tech blogger. Shit, most who would preorder this device probably don't even come to Gizmodo anymore.

I'd HOPE that the majority of the money goes into the quality of the speakers. Good speakers can cost LOT of money. So asking for a good pair of speakers (bluetooth or not) for under $200 would be quite a feat, in and of itself.

Look up what DLNA and Airplay are.

These conspiracy theories are ridiculous, sorry. I know it makes you think you're just a little smarter than the average person out there. Maybe you think you're not a naive American believing all the campaign lies. Maybe you think you've "got it figured out." Truth is, you're just a paranoid conspiracy theorist.

Actually, this surface runs Windows RT. The more expensive larger version will run full Win8 with an x86 processor.

It's a matter of practicality. You're both right to some extent. But take price, portability, and practicality into consideration. A lot of people use an iPad with a smart cover around the house or even when they go out. The surface with the keyboard is essentially the same size. Lugging around a big BT keyboard is

He's obviously talking about Flash and how tech bloggers will condemn you whether you implement it or not.

As Korean cars move more upmarket, someone's gotta fill the void.

Hmm, on most cars it's just a no-tension string connected to the trunk latch. I don't see how there'd be such a mechanism on there.

OK so the picture is great and would do great for a digital frame or maybe a phone wallpaper. But it is still unusable as even a desktop wallpaper because of its lack of detail and bad colors. Phone cameras are still pretty far separated from decent entry level point and shoot cameras in picture quality.

Making a chip isn't necessarily hard. You buy some computer engineers and have them design a chip. So they spent a little extra money and laid them out by hand. That's impressive, but there's no voodoo or magic to it. Anybody can do it. I like the iPhone but what's really so different from that and the S3? Really not
