Well yeah, that’s the whole reason we have internet on our phones: To prove ourselves right and shove it in our friends’ faces. Usually not literally in their faces but you get the idea.

I totally agree. I’m also totally happy that this 6 episode “special event” happened, and would watch another 6 episode “special event” every year, ad infinitum, despite how bad the mythology episodes were, because it’s just so great to see Mulder and Scully again.

To be fair, we always knew the bookend episodes were going to be terrible because Chris Carter penned the scripts. I’ll take this run as a win simply because of Darin Morgan’s Were-Monster episode. Give me at least one of these a “season” and I’ll be back for more, Carter episodes and all. If only the man could let go…
