If the car needs only brakes and coil packs, why not atleast take care of the coul packs before selling the car? A quick search on rockauto shows the the price of eight coil packs to be well under $200. In my experience coil packs are one of the easiest things to replace on Honda's at least...unless the engine…

Not to be a pedantic jerk, but Whitman is a suburb +20 miles outside Boston. Also, I’m betting dollars to donuts the undercarriage is covered in rust if the car has spent its life in New England.
