There’s something sort of romantic about a website reposting content about labor written so long ago that none of the current staff overlap at all with the staff that existed when the article was written. Are Nathan Rabin and Emily St. James getting a check for any clicks they might still be generating?

I'd love it if there was a dwarf named Bowi.  Second cousin to Fili and Kili.

He was an excellent Hades.

Not in Australia it doesn't, medical doctors are exempt! (I was utterly baffled at a Becker episode I saw where he was called for jury duty!)

They should do a short to explain where he was during the four years. He really wants to get back to Haddonfield/murdering sooner, but life keeps getting in the way. First he gets jury duty, then Covid. Then the new season of Drag Race starts.

They do not, which is why they released the source code for FreeSpace 2 way back.

Still, every episode of The Twilight Zone is a mighty good thing.

It’s because they aren’t actually touching the HBO part. It’s all been TNT, TBS, TruTV, and HBO Max.

Yeah, people look at an infographic of Embracer’s acquisitions and it looks CRAZY, being like four times as big as something like TakeTwo, but all of TakeTwo’s properties are big names, while a huge chunk of Embracer’s are... Pickman’s Model was an H.P. Lovecraft short story previously adapted for Rod Serling’s Night Gallery. Curious to see that one.

Guns up, motherfucker!

Or Peacemaker or the animated Harley Quinn show.

Radiant Historia is a phenomenal JRPG. It has one of the best turn-based battles systems I’ve ever played and the time travel mechanic is really well implemented. $10 is a steal for such a good game.

The perceived ethics of doing stuff like this is interesting; rather than the motive of a traditional scammer, which is to try to get something of value out of someone without providing anything of value in return, in this case the deception is predicated on the idea that the film industry (acting in particular) is so

you really, REALLY should...

I guess I hadn’t remembered he was from Missoula, but yeah, makes perfect sense. In Blue Velvet, it’s that surface of normal American life, and just underneath it’s - you know, an ear barely hidden in a garden, leading to all kinds of creepy criminal stuff. And he took it further with Twin Peaks when the crime stuff

Came down here to say this - it’s a great book.  I actually got the audio version of him reading it.  Highly recommended.

Wait, is it? What the fuck? They delayed Michael Keaton’s return as Batman by that much?

Thank you for this wonderful ticket to hell. Have a star.

If you thought the industry was hostile to journalists before, just wait until SNK starts inviting reviewers to their embassy in Turkey!
