I could go for spending 22 minutes every week with Mr. Heckles complaining about those noisy upstairs neighbors.

God damn it, Alan Rickman was taken from us too young. Just hearing him talk about the Thermian actors...that voice reminds me of all the great roles he had and all the ones we missed out on.
“Scooby Doo, Video Game Developer Edition”:
OK, this has indeed made me laugh, but only because it brought up memories of “So I Married an Axe Murderer” and Charlie’s father.
A very good suggestion! Thank you for bringing it up.
Don’t sleep on Zero Escape: The Nonary Games. 9-9-9 is a helluva game.
And to think, without this re-shoot/not-a-re-shoot, we would’ve not gotten this.
also, Quadrilateral Cowboy alone is worth the entire bundle ;)
Batman Beyond actually seems like it work better as an animated movie. I know it IS animated, and has already had one animated movie, Return of the Joker, but I’m thinking the more photo-realistic animation style. The “uncanny valley”-ness that would undoubtedly hit the characters would actually give the Neo Gotham…
like, can you imagine them hiring whoever directed the modern equivalents of pee wee’s big adventure & beatlejuice to do a batman now?
Really looking forward to this, though I’m still disappointed it doesn’t show whether we can trust Harvey Dent.
Looking at Wikipedia, I didn’t realize John Goodman had hosted as many times as he has (13). Hanks would also be part of the club, as would the late Buck Henry.
We mostly agree that the Five Timers Club is getting overly packed, but what would be the next level of the club to celebrate? Is there a Ten Timers Club beyond Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin (and Paul Simon?)?
Piggy-backing off your comment: As someone who considers the Steve Martin who made those first three stand-up albums to be one of his “comedy quasars” (along with Bob Newhart), I can’t recommend the audiobook version of his “Born Standing Up” biography enough. One doesn’t get enough chances to hear a master craftsman…
What is it about method actors that makes such a larger-than-you-would-statistically-expect segment of them into jerks?
“I want Tom Hardy.”
Ah! While your analogy may or may not be great, I get the general jist of what you’re saying. Thank you for the explanation!
I didn’t realize there were 4th & 5th “classic era” Darkstalkers games, so I’m really looking forward to this, too.
Hopefully the Ryu ending has him swinging by the Crocs kiosk at the mall.
I’d been wondering if it were good. Now I’m going to have to try to track it down, at least an issue or two. Hopefully it’s on Comixology.
