between where Dick's burger is and where the theater is….it wan a corner shop that if you were coming up 45th going towards Stone, youd miss it if you werent looking for it

uh, no it doesnt

as a former resident in West Seattle and Delridge Way, I can vouch that Ambaum is legit for this…

yo!! Red Mill fan here…its is the best burger in Seattle—not even close!!!!! I goto the one in Greenwood !!!

no we arent…the thing is, you have to go all over the Seattle/Tacoma area to find place…but there are TONS of places, you just hafta get outta your square five miles where you go, and venture out. Trust me, I've found many places all over…its far from desert. Now, if you said Spokane or even Olympia, Id agree with

huh? You werent looking while you were in school and didnt venture to the hood or a food truck to find it…I've known good Mexican in Seattle for over 20 years…and these places are NEVER near the universities

nah, this must be a recent thing, because 20 years ago, there werent any Teriyaki joints in PDX. Must be Seattle folk who opened shops there due to the food truck explosion that came to Portland, bringing cuisines that were once foreign there decades ago

huh? Most Koreans and Japanese in Seattle live in the same areas, so, these people cross paths and are basically doing foods close to food items in their own culture. Think about it, Korean BBQ and Teriyaki are not that far apart in the ways its cooked up…but with Teriyaki, its way easier to prepare and serve to the

alot of the Koreans bought the original chains from other Japanese…but there are also alot of Koreans who were doing Teriyaki from the beginning too, because they often know how to cook/prepare Korean BBQ and its not much of a stretch to do Teriyaki if you do

huh? All of the Teriyaki joints here are asian owned, and most place I goto, the owners also own the places where they operate. Seattle has a gigantic asian population, so many folks here dont necessarily rent

not the point…

but a teriyaki meal (with the rice and cabbage/lettuce salad combined in) here is not the same as a teriyaki flavored meat item from Hawaii (where the rice is eaten separately, and the salad is potato or macaroni salad is as well)..this pray tell, is the difference.

dude, youre not getting the point. Seattle teriyaki is nothing like what youre talking about, especially like a Hawaii style plate lunch or separate teriyaki flavored food items. The way the chicken or beef is cut, marinated, and served with rice (and salad) is not plate lunch style, because at the end of the day,

Yeah, and you can choke on your own spit, and we'd be better for it
