Why do TV manufacturers still insist on adding that garbage “motion smoothing” option to their sets, or even worse, turn it on by default? I don’t know anyone who uses it, and if they do it’s because they don’t know any better.

I think the DB11 allows this. In fact, I think I picked up this neat little factoid on this very site through an article by this very writer lol.

This was a great show and it is a miracle it lasted as long as it did on CBS. I think the reason it survived is it started as a fairly generic, but well done, procedural with a gimmick (bread and butter for CBS) and only got deeply into the near future sci fi elements once it had built an audience.

I guarantee 90% of the people saying that will tune into the first episode at least.
