I feel the exact same way. VR seems ripe for exploitative behavior on behalf of Mr. Huge corporation, and that isn't something I want to take part in. The ramifications of VR are really fucking sinister, and it scares me that people are so excited for it.

Just wanted to say this. From looking at the ps3 beta compared to the retail version, I think the beta version looks worse. The lighting is nice, but it had worse to no surface textures. The floors and walls look like blobs compared to retail.
