I can see the low resolution ds/3ds games being stretched on a big screen now. And it looks amazingly awful.

Sigh... I knew someone was going to say it... Yes it uses polygons and such to form 3d objects, but it is presented on a 2d plain. This is referred to as 2.5d (which is a dumb term, but it's the most commonly used one to describe that style).

This makes me want a 3d trials game.

Im not the one who brought up innovation. I know those consoles havent really innovated anything yet. All I did was disagree with Gronors point about the wii u being innovative.

Technically the ps3 did it first. Though extremely limited and it doesnt work with very many games, there is remote play between the vita and ps3. Also, it isn't a super revelatory idea.

I was joking, but what did the Wii U innovate? It's a big stationary DS that plays nintendo games. There isn't anything wrong with that, but it isn't very special either.

The type of games they make wouldnt really benefit from the power found in the ps4/xb1. That isnt a knock against them, mind you, its just a fact that they utilize a technologically simplistic design philosophy. Wii U games look great and will probably run at 1080p until the next generation regardless of inferior…
