Tell her she's doing it wrong and should get ps plus for automatic updating. Though, I do agree PS3 load times leave a lot to be desired. Though, I still think PC's are more cumbersome in that department (there are more things that need constant updating).

I also have a decent laptop that can play current games on mid-high settings.

Yeah, and those chips suck (if youre talking about integrated graphics). And theyve already talked about the flexible memory (guerilla games talked about how they can allocate 3gb of ram, on the fly, just for graphics). Ill try to dig up the article for you!

Im of the opinion that arkham asylum was better than city. Yes, AC improved upon AA in some cool ways, but it wasnt enough. It was more of the same with a lesser story. This seems to be taking the exact same, monotonous route

That 8GB of ram isnt like regular ram though. On computers you have regular ram that stores temporary memory to handle (multiple) tasking, and you have vram that handles graphical multitasking.

When nintendo stops making games for it. At the end of the day, the nostalgic will want their mario, zelda, etc from nintendo, and most of their games do have a wide appeal with children. And thats where the big question comes in; yes, people will want those games, but how long until they are unwilling to pay 100's of…
