I’d wager that the average spending on the first one was more than $30. It’s easy to buy and item or extra loot for 0.99$ until you realize how many you’ve bought.

A lot of people are saying that the platform is the deal-breaker here. I get that to an extent. Like many Kotaku commenters, once I got a Switch, my interest in playing games on 3DS dropped a lot.
