These aren’t the original SNES games. It’s not a new product, the development work has been done for 15-20 years. Capcom presumably still has the original designs for the packaging and instruction booklets. Their only current cost for this product is the manufacturing costs.

Yeah, prices of things should never increase, even when the value they represent increases a lot. :-)
