Having lived both in Boston and Vermont, I think having a House and Senate with different representational systems is good.  The problem, from my point of view, is that the balance has gotten way off since the House was capped.  

While we’re on the subject of the house and its idiosyncrasies , isn’t it absurd - like pants on head, socks on hands absurd - that our reps represent ~700k people each  with 435 reps in the house? These are numbers only beat by the European Union and India(1.5 million people per rep on avg, yikes). I truly think this

It wouldn’t surprise me if college and pro basketball continue to drift apart from one another. They have different fanbases, different cultures and most importantly, different priorities for elite talents.

Gosh I hope this works. Fuck the NCAA. This has been the dream since Brandon Jennings went to Europe a decade ago. Hopefully this young man is successful in Australia and doesn’t suffer due to being thrown off by the toilets flushing backwards.

So, it’s like a semester abroad, but instead of paying out the ass to attend classes overseas, they pay you to do the thing you wanted to do anyway and nothing else.
