The right has to stand opposed to all science, all objectivity, all reason in order to win their broader agenda. As nonwhites approach becoming a majority, racist white people can’t get their way with democracy anymore — so they have to rail against any and all things in order to get their way.

Is this the “reaching across the aisle” and the “healing” he talked about in his victory night speech: kowtowing to violent racists?

While it’s a somewhat-satisfying rejoinder to Trump, I kind of oppose this request on principle because:
