I’m quick to hear a dog whistle — hi Donald! — but I don’t really see it here.

I just don’t see how race is infused into this question. Ultimately, no one has ever suggested — to my knowledge — that race has anything to do with the likelihood of taking PEDs. So it is tough to infer here.

He was a fighter pilot. You have a narrative you want to run with - you will be impossible to stop.

This shows he was a bad pilot? This argument is so Trumpian.

I’m sure he does. But it is a long walk of the dog to get there.

I still felt compassion for her in the moment. Maybe it is just because she is hot. But I did.

Is that what you experience in combat tells you?

You should use your mind for things other than sports analytics. Go invent a mini-plane I can drive to work.

My first thought was Isaiah.

Yes, if you get shot down or killed in combat you are a terrible soldier. Everyone, including Jon Snow, knows this.

And you have determined that this was the result of being a poor pilot? Really?

Pat Tilman was a bad soldier because he is dead? Is that the logic here? If so, it is idiotic.

He is the Tom Brady of being a bad ass when they caught him.

So you think heroes are people that avoid getting captured? A wise man said that once...

Brian Griese.

“And in fact he was a lousy soldier, graduating at the bottom of his Annapolis class.”

It was a mistake. His back was against the wall and he wanted to gamble. I don’t know that this decision will define him. Sarah Palin as VP seems a lot wiser to me than Donald Trump as president, a decision made by million of Americans.

This is correct. And the narrative here is that if you are against ObamaCare as most in the GOP are, you are somehow an awful person.

I would think the exposure would be worth the hassle. And pretty fun too.
