You can for Netflix use chrome with the user agent of Chrome OS effectively enabling Netflix for you if what jstoik said is true.

Right my DBGT rmvb files not only used to stutter they even crashed vlc sometimes, this is a welcome change for me.

I don't think you're concern is legible cos I saw improvements in playback of a few rmvb files I had lying around which used to crash VLC before the update.

I must say I've been damn happy holding of buying any app till they all merge into a single app store based on web (even snatched the humble bundle deal) and I only get the free apps which makes it not much of a trouble(I got NFS Undercover for free for my iPod)
