Thanks. The entire premise Time Team was to make history and archeology accessible to the general public. People learn best through the telling of stories. I immediately thought of it when you made that point.

Has the late show Time Team had any impact on your understanding of the late Roman period? I know they did a lot of Roman digs and several that i can think of on Roman frontier settlements both in the UK and mainland Europe. As i understand it, much/all of their work was properly surveyed & recorded.
