Was the headline intended to be “John Wick 4 falls 15 minutes short of joining the four-hour original-cut club”?

Now if only the Willow budget could have went to a third season of The Mysterious Benedict Society instead. It didn’t get much press (and I know it cost a lot), but it was a perfect gateway show for my tweens for more quirky, interesting fare in their coming teenage years.

Really fond of the “This is definitely our most ambitious season so far” quote, I see.

And you know what? Me too!

Don’t worry. Next time it’ll be in a sideshow.

Let me correct Hugh Grant’s “Could have been nominated for” list to include About A Boy. Sure sure, I know it isn’t an Oscar rewarding type of role, but that’s far and away my favorite movie on his resume.

I assumed it meant G/O Media finally fired all the humans.

I’m not sure this article needed to end with,With any luck, this dismal project will never see the light of day.” I’m sure there’s dozens and dozens of hard-working crew members pouring themselves into this production that would rather have it released than thrown on the scrap heap.

I hadn’t heard of Rain Dogs before now, but I never won’t take an opportunity to ring the bell that Daisy May Cooper’s This Country is probably best comedy series I’ve seen from the last decade.

Writers are ... essential to the programming we know and love.

I believe that in Chrome one of my ad block extensions, uBlock Origin or Adblock, is keeping the Vulture paywall at bay. I checked and I don’t have any site-specific settings in Chrome for Vulture (e.g. Javascript disabled), so my best guess it’s one of those two. Once I log into my Vulture account, or if I use a

Somehow I never stopped visiting this site every morning, even though it’s now been years since it was worth visiting, but if you’re like me and the TV recaps were your entry point, I’ve found Vulture to be my favorite replacement. Vulture cover a ton of shows, and will even bring in guest reviewers when the material

Not terribly sure why this would be news. I’m significantly more surprised when a non-network show actually airs one season a year these days. Even a lot of small order comedies are regularly taking 18 months or longer to crank out a season. Every year I get caught off guard that What We Do in the Shadows actually

It’s kinda in the show’s DNA to flub a country-specific theme of the week, so the Mexican week was pretty much what you’d expect by this point, but time and time and time again this past season the time constraints ruined the challenges. If Paul is telling every contestant that their dough didn’t proof long enough or

They’re not doing him a whole lot of favors with the musical guest either. Seems like they often pair a wider-known musical guest to carry an athlete’s show along (Lebron + Kanye, Eli Manning + Rihanna, Peyton Manning+ Carrie Underwood, Ronda Rousey + Selena Gomez, ...).

We now have a number of major studios - Disney, Paramount, Warner Bros. Discovery, probably others - that are on record hoping to add licensing to FAST services to shore up their bottom line. I’m genuinely curious - are services like Pluto, Tubi, and the Roku Channel that flush with cash to be able to make significant

This list is less “the 20 best shows streaming on Apple TV Plus” and more “the 20 shows streaming on Apple TV Plus.” Yes - yes - I know there’s some omissions (I think I’m one of the few that enjoyed The Afterparty) ... but not many.

I find it curious that my teenage nieces and nephews absolutely adore Arrested (along with The Office, Friends, and Seinfeld). They quote them all day long. I suppose that’s an upside to the streaming age and the longevity a show can have, but it’s fun to observe since when I was coming up in the 90s, it wasn’t like I

Super easy change that would massively increase viewership: coordinate with the major studios so the summer tentpoles are dropping their first trailers during the telecast. Think how many millions of people “only watch the Super Bowl for the commercials.” Imagine how many casual movie fans (not generally well served

... Emily Ratajkowski ... every frame of this trailer is filled with the funniest people in the history of the world

Does it count that I caught This Country and the original BBC Ghosts? Those were fantastic. Haven’t seen the remakes of either. Maybe one of these days.
