I feel for Warwick - he seems obviously proud of the show and it does have the feel of a rug-pull to have it yanked off Disney+ just a couple months after release - but I was still holding out hope they’d redirect the Willow S2 budget into another season of The Mysterious Benedict Society. Alas...

I’m just glad Frisky Dingo ranked as high as it did. I’ve rewatched that more than any other Adult Swim show. Adam Reed crushed the voice acting and would have made an excellent Archer had H. Jon Benjamin not been available.

Last season was a dumpster fire across the board, but at least the producers seemed willing to make adjustments to such a long-running show. I’ll hold out hope they don’t continue last year’s trend of making every challenge 30 minutes too short only to have Paul proclaim the end results needed more time…

For anybody looking for the tone of The Detectorists done in the style of The Office (UK), I wholeheartedly recommend This Country. It’s a little hard to (legally) find stateside once it dropped off of Hulu, but totally worth it if you can.
