Their animated stuff is really solid. Hell, Batman: Assault on Arkham was pretty great. An example of how to do the Suicide Squad really well.

I only watched the Pilot to see how dumb it would be. And then it. Blew. My. Mind.

Like Winter Soldier and the upcoming Age of Ultron, the guess is that they're only taking ideas from it and creating something new. It won't be the same thing.

Hey! Who turned out the lights?

The Vashta Nerada World War.

Isn't that basically the whole message of crappy YA fiction?

As someone who deals with YA bilge on a daily basis (for moniez, thankfully!) , I say they can never be mocked too much.

Yeah, he wore the yellow costume first in the comics... but its not like the show is just making this black costume up or anything.

It's his orgin costume from Man Without Fear.

She's lied to Danny almost constantly for their entire relationship. A better question is why you'd believe she could suddenly stop, even though part of her wants to. How can she suddenly end her life of adreneline and lies, one clearly emeshed with the other? How can the woman so enraptured with meeting Robin Hood

(Left) From Daredevil: Man Without Fear, by Frank Miller, and John Romita Jr.:

Ehhhh. I chalk it up to hilarious differences while gently trying to get my wife interested in nerdy things. So far, I've made her a die hard Transformers Prime fan, and that's about it. (Although she loved Guardians of the Galaxy, but then, who didn't?)

Great episode! Very reminiscent of the episode Zuko Alone. She even had the messed up eye from the fight!

Yeah, and at this point bone claws have been the story for more time (Nov 1993-) than not (Nov 1974- Nov 1993).

Wolverine debuted in October 1974. Magneto ripped the adamantium from Wolvie's body in fall 1993. It is now fall 2014. Wolverine having bone claws as one of his mutant abilities has now been canon longer than the span from his debut to the claw revelation.

I'd correct it but in a joking manner.

What is this "date" you speak of?

Is my date also a quasi-nerd? Then I gently correct them if I find an opportunity. If not, then why am I dating them again?

Look, your geek flag is going to fly eventually, so you might as well come clean now.
