I would argue that repeating the same experiment thirty-nine times in a row IS in fact, science working. It is the end-results from those experiments and the conclusions predicting future outcomes based on prior research that "works".

Exactly.

While I cringe every time I hear snyde platitudes like "Science, it works bitches" this headline only serves to perpetuate the illusion that there are sometimes better ways to do things. There aren't.

Science is method — slow, tediously repetitive at times ... making "breakthroughs" can be like chiseling through granite with a plasitic spork, documenting every millimeter and broken tine — but it does work. "Instant gratification" it certainly ain't, though. Little wonder the practice's value is lost upon the so

Oooh. So close to getting a star. You should have gone with, "somebody throw a pi!"

Also

Science, the method, works. You can tell because you're reading this on your science screen powered by your science machine that got this message from a science network.

You just saw it on PC with the highest settings (probably, and sadly).

It doesn't change the fact that this game is based off of an OpenGL 3D rendering engine and not the actual rendering engine used for Doom II. They then ripped out quite a bit of the actual game engine and replaced it with Zandronum code.

The environment looks better on PC than the PS4, and XB1 version. I would rather the environment look better than Lara. Honestly, i don't know why they didn't just update the PC version with Lara's new look, since PC can obviously handle it all better.

You're going to be in a very fun ride.

John Barrowman..Goblin...same sentence...must reign in...homo eroticism...

Either that or he has a painting in the attic.

One thing to say about these new movies, at least they made the web slinging look right. The Sam Raimi movies it always looked like Spidey was just floating with no direct connection from the web to how he was moving.

Yes, a guy swinging through the city on a web may be impossible, but that doesn't mean they didn't account for gravity and tension while they were animating.

So did he, I guess, being Reek....

when they started putting ads in front of trailers... :P

I HAVEN'T STOPPED SCREAMING, I'M STILL SCREAMING AND WILL SCREAM FOREVER.

And this is why I like PC. I have more freedom. Sadly more and more devs are trying to lock us down to the same level of consoles.
