The bigger problem is that there's no curating for the storefront anymore. With 40% of new releases being a back-catalog dump and the other 30% being Early Access content with questionable development plans, how am I supposed to trust anything on there anymore?

Final Wars is goofy, but it has ALL the kaiju. My personal favorite moment - Zilla, aka the mutated iguana from the American Godzilla - attacks Sydney. When the real Godzilla shows up, Zilla, rendered totally in CGI, gets his ass kicked in less than a minute by the traditional man-in-a-suit Godzilla. One of the aliens

I was actually thinking it more like Static Shock's origins. the same event created Static and his enemies. The same event here created The Flash and his rogues gallery.

So, in the DC television universe, Green Arrow is Batman, and the Flash is Superman. One show is all street level grittiness, the other super-science and super-powers. I think I can get onboard with this "World's Finest" team. Hoping for crossovers during sweeps weeks.

This looks awesome! The music is pretty dumb, but I like pretty much everything else. Maybe I'll try picking up arrow again.

Umm....How can they be traced to the protagonist? He was miles away from the source of the explosion, and was just getting back to his workplace when the place exploded, effecting him the same as the others.

So, hopefully, there's a few eight or nine-year-olds out there who I've claimed.

I find it funny that someone with the username CartesianWrath is so down on philosophy.

I'm probably about as biased as Massimo is, but I'm sick to death of philosophers pontificating about their own importance. I would rather talk to an ethicist than a philosopher any day of the week, because an ethicist is at least attacking a problem of practical import.

I think the reason one can easily dismiss

So now we finally find out how Hans Zimmer composes his film scores.

The music was kind of distracting for me, since it's not original material. IIRC, it's from Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Well, good thing John's not a heroic character, then.

He fights demons in the comics, but he's not an Exorcist-for-hire, like the TV show (and movie before it). He's a wizard; he can cast a few spells, knows enough mystic lore from a variety of traditions to get himself out of trouble, and has a pocket or two magical items.

The recent reboot has him as more of a 'magical

The Mike Carey OGN is All His Engines

I've only read a bit of Hellblazer, but what I read seemed consisted with the general Vertigo comics vibe you get in Sandman, The Invisibles, Books of Magic, etc, insofar as all folk magic traditions and belief systems are equally real and in play.
