Don't worry; it looks like it's just gold-chrome-plated. It shouldn't be subject to Gold Plastic Syndrome.

For everyone else's reference (skip to 0:53)
So what do QTEs look like when somebody's using them for good, not a drowsy, narcoleptic sort of evil? Well, the most classic example is the Krauser knife fight from Resident Evil 4. It's a tense, intimate scene—a sudden showdown between two men with volumes of history between them. Every line of dialogue is hissed,…
I'm saying the barrier to entry is lower, not nonexistent. Yes, there are other costs involved with shooting a film, but the actual cost of physical film is no longer one of them.
Moreover, the barrier to entry is getting lower and lower. Before, you'd need hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of equipment to shoot, edit, and print a film. These days, a talented editor in front of a reasonably-priced rig can take you places. Digital means you're no longer losing money on wasted film.
Nobody's saying that George didn't contribute to making the original trilogy good. But it is a fact that without any sort of checks and balances — his ex-wife, his original editor — with nobody saying no to him, we get overloaded gunk like the special editions.
Single core? WTF are you talking about? I have a core i5-2500K. And trust me, I also used to think you don't need anything more than 4GB of RAM, until I switched to 8GB dual-channel (4GBx2) RAM. The extra room to breathe is a godsend.
The Strafe site is so 90's it hurts my eyes. We're talking Geocities/Angelfire-level of web design here.
Except the roles are kinda reversed, innit? Or is that considered a spoiler?
Except that stylistically, nearly everything about the show's universe adopted a vaguely post-medieval, Central European look. The only anime that could possibly be more Germanic than this show is Fullmetal Alchemist, and only because the first anime eventually dumps the Elric brothers in Nazi Germany.
Ok, am I the only one who thinks the CG work this episode has been just laughably bad? Just compare Girder's effects to say, Absorbing Man's on Agents of SHIELD. Hell, even previous episodes of this show are miles ahead in terms of their FX money shots. Barry's first supersonic punch is just ugh. It should've been as…
Ugh. Gay terrorist friendzoned mage is the worst.
Press X to incest?
Which is strange, since Far Cry 3 has an offline mode. Hell, Uplay has an offline mode. What's with Unity then?
You're not making sense. First, you call it an overrated game. Then mention other games with a similar style, like Dear Esther. Then you cap it by saying it's not a game. So which is it? If it's an overrated game, that is similar to other games, how can it be not a game?
Looks a little too young to play Mordo.
Neither FarmVille nor Candy Crush are new; the former is a simplified version of many a 4X's base-building mechanic, while the other is a puzzle game (which we've had since Tetris).
IIRC they were trying to bring the animation in line with the MCU Avengers (with the more Ultimates vs. 616 design). Some Disney exec probably thought kids would be too dumb to recognize the original costumes.
Hiddles definitely does a better Owen Wilson.
Pity, because the show was against that kind of social media over-sharing. Yes, Karen's supposed to be a vapid instagram whore, but the show was about her outgrowing that.
