Heart of Darkness is the original novel upon which Apocalypse Now is based. As for which of the two the OP's description matches more, I'd say it matches the former rather than the latter. Apocalypse Now doesn't have an epilogue where the protagonist goes home.

I played Spec Ops: The Line knowing full well it was based off Heart of Darkness. Didn't ruin the reveal one damn bit.

But the 'liberal tolerance' from Gloria and Meathead was never in display - they were ALWAYS hateful and judgmental.

How do you not care which Supernatural character you are?

Already got Injustice from the Amazon sale. Nothing else appeals to me, at least, at the given prices.

To be fair, it's not always like this. I had zero problems authenticating and playing South Park: The Stick of Truth on day one. There are a hundred other games that don't make you go jump through hoops — for a game you just bought, I might add — just to be able to play on release. It's just the usual suspects: EA and

Huh. Must've fallen asleep for those. My bad.

You're getting bored? You're the one recycling lame jokes, dude. And here I thought you had better material.

Damn fine actor, who's had the misfortune of signing up for some really bad movies.

Your "insults" are so douche-bro, I'm surprised you're not eating Doritos and chugging Mountain Dew right now. Or are you?

Seriously, where are you getting your material, 2005? Who even plays second life these days? I'd laugh if your attempts at being a macho douchebag weren't so horribly pathetic.

Well fuck you, buddy.

Ok, I got this guy's schtick now:

Now playing

I've seen at least one that doesn't have any. Usually, the stylistic ripoffs of Hollywood action movies, those don't have much song and dance. What they do have is mind-boggling CGI and action!

Sorry, but you're really showing your lack of knowledge at this point. No game, no matter how "optimized" you think it can be, generate frames on the upper range of over 100, with ambient occlusion, anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, tessellation, and GPU-computed physics, and so many more processes that it can't

Where's the Flashpoint armor? I really liked that.

Agreed, but for different reasons. They're hardly Grecian, which Diana's traditional motif. Well, aside from the US flag colors, of course.

You know, I started off with a really shitty PC that could barely do 300x200 with Riddick: Butcher Bay. Now I'm running a beast that can do 1080p, most likey more, and chew up more than a hundred frames a second. Does it matter? Fuck yes it does. Hell, every iterative step I took, every upgrade, until my current

It's the best they can do short of building an entirely new game from the ground up. I wouldn't call it wax, either: my GTX 690 burns at 80°C per GPU when I'm playing Metro: Last Light with all the goodies turned on. So the Pinto=Ferarri analogy doesn't quite match up. If graphical polish were nothing more than a wax
