LOL you amuse me. Sorry, I was busy hitting the gym, not playing WOW. You should try it sometime.

These days, I only pre-order games I know I will like because I already know what I'm gonna get (The South Park game comes to mind). Otherwise, it's almost always a delayed purchase, especially with Ubi's crap. Their authentication servers are almost always not capable of handling the massive 1st-day load. Didn't work…
LOL aren't Cheetos and Mountain Dew more of a console bro-gamer thing? I certainly don't consume either of those, and I've been part of the master race since the 90's. Also, I trim my goatee, so sorry, no neckbeard.
There seems to be some (not all) missing self-shadowing/ambient occlusion on the XBone version that's present on both PS4 and PC. Other than that, I don't notice any differences.
Yeah, hopefully full interaction goes hand in hand with massively open. Like a real city, kinda like what they've been promising since Assassin's Creed 1, and what Ubi recently promised with Watch Dogs. I'd be down for an actual city that was able to procedurally generate an entire citys' worth of civilians. And not…
Yeah, I know that. I'm just discussing the point that the graphics card market is actually fragmented into different demographics with different requirements. But thanks for sharing.
Agreed. I'd rather devs use the new consoles' resources to build bigger gaming worlds, because that's a net gain for everyone.
He looks more like Wario than Mario.
Glitch exploitation is totally valid, so long as you're not modifying the core game as is. If the game unintentionally allowed for rocket jumps, then it's totally ok to use said rocket jump to clear a ravine the dev thought you would never in a million years attempt to cross. If the dev made paintbrushes weigh nothing…
It's because for those apologists, a $400 machine is an extreme investment, and they don't want to feel like the doofus who bought the Brooklyn Bridge from a shady guy downtown. Hence, they must believe that what they got was a "next generation" console, and that it will have "next generation" games.
Also tell me a recent, finished game on PC that had high visual aspirations and wasn't also required to be available on consoles.
While I agree with most your statements, I will have to disagree with one:
You need to see more PC games, or you are in serious need of an upgrade. Just off the top of my head:
It looks sluggish to me. For shooters, that's the one sin you should never have. You need to have quick, highly responsive visuals. Sacrificing all of that for extra particle effects? Bad.
Wow, frame rate looks terrible. Is that from Twitch, or because of the 30fps thing?
Er, no. I'm talking about the non-gaming markets that purchase high-end GPUs, such as graphic designers, bitcoin miners, and engineers. I have no idea what you're talking about re: Raptr.
I once had to throw away a lemon whose inhabitants I'm pretty sure were on the way to industrialization. You may call me destroyer of worlds. Or at least, one world.
I've owned both, though I currently lean towards Nvidia products because of the extra features (Shadowplay, PhysX). Will I stay loyal to Nvidia forever? Probably not, as my allegiance only goes as far as who's got the better lineup at the moment. If AMD releases a strong line that outshines the competing Geforce cards…
"Gameworks represents a clear and present threat to gamers by deliberately crippling performance on AMD products (40% of the market) to widen the margin in favor of NVIDIA products," Hallock told Forbes. That's quite the allegation.
Here's a tip: why not shoot in abandoned factories next time? It's what toku shows do, anyway. Even better, start from the bathroom, end up in a warehouse. Bam, classic toku.
