That Core i7 should still be good. Focus on getting a new GPU.

Both graphics cards have been obsoleted by at least three generations. If you know where to find used parts, you could get either for super cheap.

I use a different methodology. I choose resolution first. That way, you know the minimum GPU required to power the thing. Since games are still GPU-intensive — and will be for quite a while — you can aim for the lowest possible CPU. Then get 8GB of RAM; you won't need more unless you're gonna do video/photo editing.

So you express your low tolerance for Internet comments by leaving your own? Irony!

Games benefit from being on the SSD too. Not all games, mind you, but open world ones, definitely. Skyrim and late game Civ V saves have shown the biggest improvement in my experience.

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 465 or higher, ATI Radeon HD 6870 or higher

You have an unlocked proc, and you're running at stock speeds? Get a giant fan and push that to 4.5GHz. Or better yet, go with watercooling and push all the way past five.

Windows 8 is great, so long as you know how to avoid the Metro interface and go straight to desktop mode. Myself, I spent an extra $5 to get my Start button back. Even my Metro apps I put in Windows.

In my country, it's not two weeks, it's 30 days, and it's the law. You can leave immediately, but there has to be a solid reason, such as crime, negligence, or severe misconduct/working conditions.

EDIT: ninja'd by Jnite.

I wouldn't be surprised if what you were really buying with this kit is the carrying case, especially at that price.

Finally got to play. I had one crash, which hasn't repeated itself. Other than that, the only difficulties I've had with the game were its design choices and mechanics. Seriously, super-clunky and unforgiving QTEs in the abortion clinic. I spent an hour replaying that scene.

Didn't Avengers show that she was very flippant in the face of danger? Remember the whole "it's like Budapest all over again" line? Or how she casually shrugs that she can make a Cap-boosted 20-foot jump?

These aren't just sitcom directors; these are guys who've worked on two seasons of Community. If you know anything about that show, then you'll know that the Russos are no strangers to action.

To be fair to ol' Frankie, his prostitutes are usually well-rounded characters. It's when you ask him to write a woman who isn't a sex worker that you run into problems.

I learned to let go of potions. Mana? Unless you're a heavy spellcaster, won't need it. Late game, you really won't need it, thanks to the unli-casting armors. Stamina? Soups and stews work better. Smithing/enchant boosters? You only need 'em when you're smithing, so they stay in the fridge.

Yeah, I played those random crimes. Nearly every single one I encountered was either criminals mugging each other, or the police, or the police are the muggers. No actual civilians running scared.

Hopefully they've programmed criminal AI to quickly dodge out of the Batmobile's way.

Evacuation doesn't mean empty. When law-abiding citizens flee Gotham, the gangs come in and take over.

Do what I did and skip the entirety of Season One. Drop straight in to Season two. You won't regret it.
