Our gens are just faster. Case in point: If you're running with a GTX 480, you're technically three generations behind. Since the increments come in so fast and so close together, you don't feel it unless you're midrange and about four generations behind.

As Rome II has shown us, PC exclusivity is not a be-all and end-all. Plus there's still the standard PC fragmentation to worry about. I know, I know, Master Race and all, but some guys are still running on Intel HD 4000's, or low end AMDs and Nvidias.

That's sad, considering he was one of the first members of EMT. Always sad when business gets in teh way of friendship.

I remember reading somewhere that Hitler developed his anti-Semitism after living in a tenement full of Jews, because he didn't get accepted into that Viennese art school. It's his close proximity to Jews that allowed him to sharpen his racism.

The PC version runs more smoothly, but has its own technical issues. Kotaku's Kirk Hamilton couldn't get through one mid-game cut-scene without his game crashing. He had to skip it. Other PC reviewers have also reported save glitches and other bugs, and one reviewer playing on PS3 told me he couldn't load out of a

Oh look, Obsidian released a buggy mess. That never happened before.

Nah, I'd put Medieval 2 above Shogun 2.

Kinda my point, but thanks for pointing that out.

There's your problem: thinking the extra artwork entailed by your suggestions would only cost them an extra 2-4 thousand dollars.

Ease has been mentioned, but I think nostalgia is just as important. Thirtysomethings are both old enough to remember 8-bit games, and loaded enough to make quick purchase decisions and not regret it. It's targeted marketing.

Not operating system, but a GUI. The OS itself was UNIX.

For me, it was the lack of inline help, using the /? flag.
