Ease has been mentioned, but I think nostalgia is just as important. Thirtysomethings are both old enough to remember 8-bit games, and loaded enough to make quick purchase decisions and not regret it. It's targeted marketing.

Not operating system, but a GUI. The OS itself was UNIX.

For me, it was the lack of inline help, using the /? flag.

Not really ironic. There were a shit-ton of them in Central and Eastern Europe back in the day. Look up Ashkenazi.

That's EA for ya: missing the whole point of these digital distro sales.

Deux Ex GOTY Edition + The Fall | Gamefly | 20% off with code MAR20OFF

Snyder's Manhattan bomb wasn't a solution. It misses the point Moore was trying to make, a point that we didn't even have to think twice about in Pacific Rim: when giant monsters come a-knocking, border disputes just fall by the wayside.

How does this work? Does the RX-93 donut come with extra frosting wedges? Does the RX-0 donut have lines of cherry frosting? And will eating it make you whiny and overly attached to random ginger chicks?

Only the red ones. They seem to be a hit with young girls.

Allegedly, Ultra is the last in the SFIV series. That said, Capcom declared that Ultra will be available as a DLC to anyone who already owns SFIV or SSFIV:AE. If you can get either game for $5 or so, then it's a great time to get it.

I don't think anyone's been converted yet. They promised when Ultra was initially announced that we would be migrated to Steam, but so far no follow-up news regarding said migration. Hopefully it comes on or before the release date of the Ultra DLC.

Hey, welcome to 2014, Time Traveler. In the eons you've spent travelling to this age, Nvidia has learned to keep TDP low. Meanwhile, AMD (you may know them as ATI) are now notorious for releasing cards that have high TDP and shitty coolers.

How's that 15% performance bump on one game going for you?

WTF Why wouldn't they? First off, the drug was still on animal trials. That means it hasn't been determined to be safe for human consumption. You know, human; like the lab tech.

Floppy wieners?

Still more bishonen than the brick wall of a man that is - or was - Ben Grimm.

It's a lot less Gossip Girl than it used to be. Plus, it's been serving heaps upon heaps of homages and shout outs to established DC characters, and they're mostly done pretty well.

Since I also played flight and mech sims back in the late 90's-early 00's, it's safer to assume that it's the ADD, and not the games, that did it for you.
