lmao “the political rants”

HAHAHA!

stryyyy1 is a fucking idiot who should be flagged & dismissed.

Not enough “How To Bro Your Truck, Bro” or “Plumes Of Diesel Exhaust Get Me Hard” type stories here? There’s other places on the internet.

A self-hating Right-Wing Log Cabin Republican Ratfucker named Peter Thiel was shot one.

I hadn’t heard of this before reading your post. An hour later I was at a solar PV construction site and someone casually mentioned that ALL of the Fords had been replaced with Chevys because they all developed death wobbles around 40K miles. It didn’t sound like a “wobble” so much as a terrible pull that would take

I used to frequent Autoblog multiple times a day, then gravitated to Jalopnik about 6 years ago..now I’m gravitating back to Autoblog.  Just shows how things have been dragged down here at Jalop.

Jalopnik most certainly does not report on Tesla without bias. Im not a Tesla fan, but there is a clear distaste for Tesla here. Articles are either negative, or sarcastically congratulatory.  There is very rarely a neutral or positive article.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Jalopnik article about how the Ford f-150's death wobble still hasn’t been fixed (last i checked).

^^Fucking this man. Jalop keeps expecting a response from all of these big name auto manufacturers when they are barely more than a blog. An admission they have used as a defense. Also NO SHIT Tesla of all companies doesn’t want to talk to them...

Let’s be honest, you’re not reaching out to every automaker that has a customer with wheel alignment issues, has fallen asleep at the wheel, or has defective panoramic roofs. Your reaching out to Tesla because a response from them would be clickworthy for you. Most of your email requests are of the un-slick tone...

Heck the only thing keeping this place alive is the comment section. Oh and there’s still a couple of good writers, it’s gone downhill though big time

I was gonna say “I wouldn’t respond to Jalopnik either” but that was more based on the shitty tone of some of the writers (Erik!).

This is absolutely true. There’s no way that auto manufacturers can take Jalopnik, as a automotive website, seriously anymore. The hot takes, personal bias, and political rants of some of the few who have stayed have dragged this website down.  If I was Tesla, I’d tell Jalopnik to go pound sand too.  Heck, Nissan gave

As a long-time reader of Jalopnik, well over 10 years, and a loyal fan to a fault, it pains me to say this but the fact of the matter is...Jalopnik is no longer viewed as a media entity worth responding to by Tesla or any other major manufacturer. It surprises me that so many articles here point out that “I’ve reached

You're trading mechanical reliability against software reliability. This can be a win, if the software is good. In fact it can be a big win. But it can also be a net lose if the software sucks. One of the reasons why incumbent automakers are not in a good position to capitalize on the EV revolution is because their

Volvo is good at safety, but it isn’t good at reliability.

Having owned 13 Volvos, all I can say is reputation for quality and reliability? Yeah, uh, no. Safety yes, durability, yes, but IMHO that safety reputation was based almost as much on demographics as engineering as time went on. The 240 was ahead of it’s time, but time marched on. And in actual engineering, Mercedes

and I wonder how many times Tesla avoided that kind of danger just by being more proactive on OTA updates

I know I know American don’t buy them, but we love them in Canada.”
