How long have you guys been on here? I’ve been here since around 2007 and the site has always been like this. Its a liberal-leaning site that occasionally blends liberal politics with cars. And it works.

When people trot out the “wait times” trope of socialized medicine, I always have to resist the urge to talk about how I had to wait 9 months for a freakin colonoscopy at one of the biggest hospital networks in the US. And it cost like 2 grand out of pocket for the privilege.

A lack of personal responsibility is a big factor in why this is still such an issue. And “muh freedumb” or “not wanting to adhere to the Devil’s Law” is a piss poor excuse for socially irresponsible behavior.
