people let the water thing overwhelm their appreciation of this movie. it was good filmmaking, creepy as hell. some of those shots are the stuff of nightmares. yeah the water thing was dumb but doesn't change things.....like the Brazillian party home movie.

It's producers pushing it. Studios only get just about 25% of Chinese box office, so its worth it to them making more money domestically than appealing to the Chinese. Producers don't know about the 25% thing.

I don't know dude. There are still people who would like to bring back the Nazi regime. So totally possible. I do prefer them to be younger, but not sure people would accept recast of characters. Especially what would be another prequel trilogy.
